MARY FRANCES STRICKLIN SMITH
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 8, 1933 the daughter of the late William Talmage and Mollie Elizabeth Franks Stricklin.
Mary worked for Garan Manufacturing Company as a machine operator for 40 years. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mary in her spare time loved flower gardening, sewing and visiting different nursing homes.
She departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 86 years, and 4 months.
Mary is survived by one sister, Faye Holcombe of Florence, Alabama, one brother, Ray Stricklin of Decaturville, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Jackie Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Smith, one sister, Reba Nell Wilbanks, and four brothers, Lloyd Franks, Eugene, Herbert and Harold Stricklin.
