Mary Schwenk

She was born and reared in the Cabo Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late John Alvie and Josie Jane Spencer Goodwin. She attended schools in Chester County. She lived most of her working career in California, where she worked for Hughes Aircraft. She was married to Raymond John Schwenk in 1954. They retired and moved to Tennessee in 1978. Mr. Schwenk died in 1997. She was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church.



She is survived by three sons, Glen Young of St. Louis, MO, Billy Fay Young of Poplar Bluff, MO and Murel Ray Young of Kansas City, MO and a daughter Doris Marie Whitman of Saint George, Utah; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Spencer Goodwin (Grace) and Alvin Goodwin (Mildred) all of Henderson.



She was preceded in death by a sister Maurine Dixon.
