Mary Runyan

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 25, 1936 the daughter of the late Arlis Fraser and Ivy Irene Blakney Littlejohn.

On July 7, 1959 she was united in marriage to Gerald Ray Runyan, who preceded his wife in death on June 26, 2020.

Mary was a retired secretary from Mt. Hood Beverage. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Beaverton, Oregon. In her spare time Mary enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, crafts and loved collecting magazines.

She departed this life on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 8 days.

Mary is survived by her children, Steven Ray Runyan of Portland, Oregon and Angela Denise Runyan of Savannah, Tennessee; grandson, Christopher Michael Runyan; brothers, Samuel Littlejohn and Aaron Littlejohn, both of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Dorothy Motz of Savannah, Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Kay Runyan of Eugene, Oregon.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Opal Christine Nash, and two brothers, Hubert Littlejohn and Charles Lester Littlejohn.
