MARY QUALLS
was born in Hollywood, Alabama on December 16, 1932 the daughter of the late Avery and Hattie Vinson.
In 1949 she was united in marriage to William Henry Qualls, who preceded his wife in death on February 22, 1986.
Mrs. Qualls was a homemaker. She attended Southside Baptist, Riverview and Church of the Redeemed. Mrs. Qualls lived in Chicago most of her life. She was a wonderful mother and housewife, she was a devoted Christian, she slept with her Bible at her side in bed. Mrs. Qualls loved with all her heart and she wore a smile even when she did not feel well.
She departed this life on June 15, 2010 at the Savannah Health Care in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 30 days.
Mrs. Qualls is survived by 4 daughters, Portia Shannon of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Mary Ann Sparks and Judy Salgado, both of Savannah, Tennessee and Lisa F. Qualls of Chicago, Illinois
6 sons, Bobby Qualls, Jimmy Qualls and Nathan H. Qualls, all of Savannah, Tennessee, Louis H. Qualls of Val-Rico, Florida and Wyatt Earp Qualls and Jerry L. Qualls, both of Crawfordsville, Indiana
40 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren
one sister, Salley Jane McCullor of Murfreesboro, Tennessee
2 brothers, Tom and Ottis Vinson, both of Chicago, Illinois
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Natashia Marie Salgado and 5 great grandchildren, Adrianna Salgado, Sammy Shubert, Laura Ann Shubert, Ethan Qualls and Thomas Qualls
