Mary C. Priddy

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary C. Priddy of Henderson, age 85, will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Leon Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. Al Price and Benji Wood officiating.
She was born in Madison Co. the daughter of the late Gordon and Lola Staples Coplin. She was educated in Madison Co. and was married to E.L. “Cap†Priddy in December of 1939. They lived most of their married life in and around the Luray and Mifflin communities. Mr. Priddy died in 1989. She was a member of the Luray Church of Christ.
She is survived by a sister, Peggy Wood (Ben) of Jackson; two brothers, Jack Coplin (Katy) of Beech Bluff and Jim Coplin (Betty ) of Jackson; several nieces and nephews and special nieces and nephews, Jimmy and Mary Ann Priddy, Marla and Damon Newman, and Kelley and Doug Priddy whom she thought of as grandchildren; also Chase and Zack Priddy and Austyn and Nick Newman who she thought of as great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Frances Todd, Dorothy Ellis and Omega Davis.
Pall bearers will be Damon Newman, Jackie Ellis, Danny Stanfill, Jason Todd, Chris Davis, Mike Coplin, Mark Pica and Tom Mott. Honorary pall bearers will be Sidney David, Ben Wood, Thomas Threadgill, Gerald Stanfill, Gerald Blankenship, Jimmy Allen and Bobby Ellis.
