Funeral services for Mary Lois Pope, age 81, of Waynesboro,TN will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, 1:00 pm Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro with Joel Wallace and Chad Balentine officiating. Interment following in Buchanan Cemetery, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2006 from 5:00—9:00 pm and on Tuesday March 28 from 8:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro
Mary Lois Pope, a native of Wayne County, TN died on Sunday March 26, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro. She was born on May 7, 1924 to the late Willie and Sally Mae Warren Pulley. Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her husband; Rubie “Red†Pope; grandchild; Marcy Ray ; brothers; Lark; Cliff; Earnest and Edward Pulley; sisters; Gladys Sanders and Opal Pope.
Mrs. Lois was a retired factory worker from Genesco; homemaker and member of Phillips Chapel Community Church.
