Mrs. Oliver was born June 6, 1915 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jacob Milton and Margaret Jane Cain Murdaugh. She attended school in Chester County. In 1933 she married Algie Hearn. Mr. Hearn died in 1964. They lived in Chester county where they farmed and he worked as a mechanic. In 1968 she married Virgil Oliver. They made their home in Chester County until his death in 1988. Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She has been a member there for over 78 years.
Mrs.Oliver departed this life on January 10, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 7 Months, 4 Days.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy D. Hearn of Henderson; two grandchildren, Michelle and Michael Hearn; and four great grandchildren.
Other than her husbands she was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil Hearn and Travis Leon Hearn; two grandchildren, Randy Hearn and Kay Kronquist; and 5 sisters.
