Mary (Maggie) Noel



was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on June 13, 1927 the daughter of the late Charlie Sherman and John Ella Melson Moser.



On November 25, 1947 she was united in marriage to Hershel Vernon Partain, who preceded her in death on August 10, 1991. She was united in marriage to Curtis Elton Noel on May 16, 1994, he preceded her in death on July 26, 2007.



During her life, Ms. Noel was employed with Garan Inc. for over 20 years and had lived in Hardin and McNairy County. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was a great mother. Ms. Noel enjoyed fishing and flower gardening. She was a member of Church on the Rock. She enjoyed going to church and working at the church. She had extreme faith in God.



Ms. Noel departed this life on July 2, 2008 at the age of 81 years, 19 days.



Ms. Noel is survived by four daughters: Wanda West and husband Leroy of Stantonville, Tennessee, Carol Barrier and husband Keith of Savannah, Tennessee, Kay Treece, Terry Johnson and husband Jimmy all of Adamsville, Tennessee; five sons: Curtis Wade Noel and wife Pamela of Hernando, Florida, Charles Vernon Partain and wife Lisa of Stantonville, Tennessee, Jerry Partain and wife Patsy of Hernando, Mississippi, Larry Partain and wife Shari of Stantonville, Tennessee, Randy Partain of Adamsville, Tennessee; two brothers: Joe Moser of Bloomington, California and Charles Moser of Savannah, Tennessee; one sister: Merle Reed of Savannah, Tennessee; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.



In addition to her husbands and parents, Ms. Noel was preceded in death by a son: Johnny Partain; a brother: Alex Moser; a granddaughter: Trasondra Young.
