Services will be held on September 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Church of God in Clifton, Tennessee, with Michael Mathers officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater's Chapel Cemetery at Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangments.



Mary Alice Prater Milligan, departed this life on Thursday, September 18, 2008 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days.

She was born May 1, 1919 in Clifton, Tennessee the daughter of the late William B. and Laura Lou Griffin Prater. Mrs. Milligan was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Milligan; and mother of the late; Elden Milligan, Dale Milligan, and Keith Milligan



Mrs. Milligan was a Homemaker/Furniture Upholstery . She was a member of the Church of God in Clifton, Tennessee.



She is survived by ;



six sons, Marlin Milligan of South Bend, IN, Norris Milligan of Bristol, TN, Dean Milligan of Poplar Bluff, MO, Gary Milligan of Charleston, SC, Barry Milligan of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Alton Milligan of Cedar Rapids, IO;

22 grandchildren; several great grandchildren
