Mary Edna Melton

Mary Edna Melton was born March 13, 1934 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Willie and Hester Rich Baggett.She was united in marriage to Mckinley Melton on December 25, 1952. Mr. Melton preceded her in death on August 13, 1993, following 40 years of marriage.Mrs. Melton was a homemaker and was Pentecostal in faith. She loved her family very much, and enjoyed touring the country with her daughter, who worked as a commercial truck driver. Mrs. Melton departed this life on January 3, 2012 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Diane Manley of Ramer, TN; a son, Mckinley Wayne Melton of Leon, West Virginia; four grandchildren: Rebecca Click, Daniel W. Oliver, Michael Melton, Misty Melton; four great-grandchildren: Breann Click, Brook Click, Hannah Oliver, Dusty Click; two sisters, Matilda Ann Sims of Memphis, TN and Lula Bell Mosier of Henderson, TN; and many extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by three sisters: Willie Faye Hearn, Martha Fortune, Mary Lou Garner; and three brothers: William A. Baggett, Donald F. Baggett, and Sam Baggett.
