Mary Walter McFall
was born in Walnut Grove, Tennessee on June 17, 1921 the daughter of the late Walter and Jewell Cherry Austin.
On December 25, 1942 she was united in marriage to Dougal Dee McFall, who survives.
Mrs. McFall was a homemaker and a member of the Lutts Baptist Church. She encouraged her children to receive as much education as possible. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, gardening. All her grandchildren enjoyed being with her.
Mrs. McFall departed this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the age of 87 years, 10 months, 4 days.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 5 sons, Donny McFall of Memphis, Tennessee, Johnny McFall and wife Debbie, Danny McFall and wife Regina all of Florence, Alabama, Mark McFall and wife Sheila of Lutts, Tennessee, Gary McFall and wife Lisa of Brentwood, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Patsy McFall Wilkinson and husband Bob of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Marilyn McFall Howard and husband Allan of Manchester, Tennessee; a daughter-in-law, Jackie McFall of Columbia, Tennessee; a beloved sister, Robbie Murphy of Waterloo, Alabama; 18 grandchildren, Wayne McFall, Ashley McFall, Benjamin Bowling, Chris McFall, Bridget McFall Moore, Brittany McFall, Indy Wilkinson, Lauren McFall, Tiffany McFall, Cara McFall, Alison McFall, Garrett McFall, Amanda McFall, Sydney McFall, Ragan McFall, Madison McFall, Makenzie McFall, and Lance Howard; 6 great-grandchildren, Hunter McFall, Bekah McFall, Bailey Bowling, Emma Bowling, Sam Bowling, and Harbor Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robin Charles McFall; 2 brothers, James Austin and Joe Wisdom; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca McFall.
