Mary Gail (Susie) Mathis

Mary Gail "Susie" Mathis was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 10, 1937 the daughter of the late George P. and Robbie Louise Caperton Brewer.
Susie, as she was known by everyone, had worked for Savannah Manufacturing. In her spare time she enjoyed picture puzzles and crossword puzzles.
Susie departed this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 14 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Pickens of Adamsville, Tennessee; sons, Hubert Mathis Jr. of Newbern, Tennessee, James Mathis of Stout, Ohio, and Joe R. Mathis of Iuka, Mississippi; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by a son, Robert G. Brewer and a daughter, Georgia Middleton.
