Mary Haley Evadean Grant

Mrs. Mary Haley Evadean Grant was born November 28, 1922 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Marvin and Rausia Droke Walker.On March 11, 1940, she was united in marriage to John Grant who preceded her in death on July 2, 1975.Mrs. Grant was retired from Harwood Manufacturing. She also worked for Adamsville Elementary School as a custodian and assisted the elderly in performing their daily tasks. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville.Mrs. Grant departed this life on August 29, 2005 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 1 Day.She is survived by two daughters, Gerry Moffett and her husband Willie Earl of Adamsville, Johnnie Hall and her husband Billy N. of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Danny Moffett, Dion Moffett, Tony Moffett; and ten great grandchildren.Other than her parents and her husband, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by a son, Danny Grant and a sister, Maxine Flatt .
