Mary L. Gilmore

Mary L Gilmore was born May 18, 1937 in Winfield, AL, the daughter of the late Wesley Almond and Jetta Colburn Roberts.

She was united in marriage to Homer Lee Gilmore on March 17, 1962. Mr. Gilmore preceded her in death on May 2, 2001.

Mrs. Gilmore was a member of the Mount Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ramer, Tennessee. She was a retired Financial Assistant for Kimberly Clark. She loved shopping, camping, cooking, flowers and traveling.

Mrs. Gilmore departed this life on August 14, 2014 in Mc Kenzie, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 2 Months, 27 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon D. Aldridge and husband Ron of Amory, MS; a son, Gary Lee Gilmore and wife Kim of McKenzie, TN; two grandchildren: Hannah Jackson and husband Chris of Starkville, MS, Kendra Gilmore of McKenzie, TN; a great-grandchild, Ethan Noah Jackson; special friends: Tammy Howell, Betty Straign, Patsy Hall and Ann Sweat; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gilmore was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy V. Riggan; a brother, Cecil W. "Buddy" Roberts; a great grandson, William Isaac Jackson.
