Mary Frances Garner

Mary Frances Garner of Selmer was born on Wednesday, March 23, 1932, to the late Roy and Mary Lee Roberts Holmes. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company with 32 years service. After her retirement at Brown Shoe, she worked as a Dietary Cook at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Tennessee. She was a member of Purdy Presbyterian Church.Ms. Garner passed from this life on Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Adamsville at the age of 76 Years, 3 Months, and 10 Days.Survivors are her son Randall Cleve Garner of Adamsville; two brothers, R. L. Holmes and Billy Holmes, both of Adamsville. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Hendrix, Sondra Holmes, and Martha Holmes.
