Kathleen Arnold Durham

Kathleen Arnold Durham departed this life February 9, 2023 at the age of 89 years. She was born April 30, 1933, the daughter of Dane Arnold and Kate Hargrove Arnold. On May 20, 1950 she married Edward L. Frazier. From this union, one daughter, Kathy Frazier Bain, was born. Kathleen married J.W. Durham Jr. on December 22, 1962.

Kathleen worked 40 years at Garan Manufacturing Company.  She then worked at Cross Country Garment Factory before retirement.
Kathleen and  J.W. always planted big gardens.  She enjoyed preserving and canning vegetables. They both were generous in sharing their garden surplus with friends and neighbors. She looked forward to worshipping with her church family at Southside Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1962.

Kathleen is predeceased by her parents, Dane Arnold and Kate Hargrove Arnold, and her husband, J.W. Durham, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bain (Howard); her grandchildren, Heather Bain Brandt (Alan) of Lanesville, IN and Clint Bain (Calli) of Culleoka, TN; and her great-grandchildren: Ligia Brandt, Ervin Brandt, Colin Brandt, and Daraliese Brandt.
