Mary Pauline (Dolly) Dixon , age 90, of the Shawnettee community near Collinwood died on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro. She was born September 29, 1915 in Lawrence County to the late David Emmett and Bess Williams McCrory. She was preceded in death by her husband Grayson N. Dixon, daughter Neva Calton, granddaughter Wanda Kay Dixon, and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Shawnettee Methodist Church, a homemaker, substitute teacher, and a teachers aide.
She is survived by sons; Charles Dixon and his wife Peggy, Roger Dixon and his wife Anita, Keith Dixon and his wife Bonnie all of Collinwood, Teddy Dixon and his wife Sue of Leoma; Daughter Davalene Smith and her husband Teddy William of Lawrenceburg, Son in law, Gene Calton of Collinwood
17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren
