Mary Ruth Dickey

Mrs. Mary Ruth Dickey was born August 2, 1915 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Henry and Rebecca Ann Ferguson Wolfe.On December 12, 1933 she was united in marriage to Wilburn Dickey who preceded her in death on May 9, 1985.She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the Pleasant Site Baptist Church in Selmer, TN.Mrs. Dickey departed this life on August 30, 2005 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years and 28 Days.She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lois Huggins and husband Charles of Selmer, Elizabeth Hopkins of Selmer, Donna Howser and husband Wayne of Conway, Arkansas; three sons, Wilburn Ross Dickey and wife Thelma of Crossett, Arkansas, Montie Dickey and wife Brenda of Crump, Tennessee, Ronald Dickey and wife Judy of Selmer; eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.Other than her parents and her husband, Mrs. Dickey was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanita Dickey and a son-in-law, Rubel Hopkins.
