Mary Hines Davis

Mary Hines Shell Davis, Waynesboro, TN departed this life Monday, September 12, 2016 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 6 Months, 22 Days.

She was born February 21, 1938 in Tiptonville, TN to the late Isaac Lewis and Callie Mae Jarred Shell and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Issac Lewis Shell, Jr. and a sister, Karnese Woods. She married Roy F. Davis on July 16, 1956 and was a retiree of Lincoln Brass and a member of Green River Baptist Church.

Survivors, husband, Roy F. Davis, Waynesboro, TN; sons, Timothy Wayne Davis, wife, Jyl, Ringold, GA and Terry Lewis Davis, wife, Phyllis, Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Brad Davis, Jason Gilliam, Heath Davis and Hannah Coulter and great-grandchildren, Owen Davis, Stratton Coulter, Iley Coulter and Stricklin Coulter.

Services will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Brad Davis, Jason Gilliam, Heath Davis, Josh Coulter, Danny Davis and Jerry Deal.

Visistation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
