Mary Ervin Doles Crouse

Mary Ervin Doles Crouse, 85, of Hornsby, died Thursday evening,
March 17,2005 at McNairy County Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
The widow of Jessie Doles, who died in 1983, and Holland Crouse, who died in 1996, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Crouse was born June 29, 1919 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late James Washington 'Jim' Ervin and Hallie Mathis Ervin and lived here all her life. She was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Bolivar where she enjoyed singing.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20 at Shackelford's chapel in
Bolivar with Duane Moore officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove
Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessie Virginia Payne of Wadesville, Ind.; five sons, Edward Ray, Willard Lynn, and James Wayne Doles, all of Hornsby, Bobby Lynn Doles of Selmer and William Lawrence Doles of Orangeburg, SC; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
