Funeral services for Mary Cole Lynn Meador Cross, age 95, of Waynesboro, TN will be One p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 at Shackelford Chapel in Waynesboro with Larry Janes officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.
Mrs. Cross, a native of Waynesboro, TN, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Anderson Lynn and Emily Jane Cole Lynn; her husbands, Beason Meador and William Cross; a son, Hershel Beason Meador; brothers, Andrew Lynn and Hershel Lynn; and sisters, Katherine Davis and Martha Owens. She had lived in Columbia, TN several years before returning to Waynesboro. Mrs. Cross was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Columbia.
Survivors are a granddaughter, Linda Michelle Gilkey, presently serving in the military in Germany and several nieces and nephews.
