Mary Audrea Comer

Mary Audrea Comer, 85, of Winchester, Indiana and Saulsbury, Tennessee, passed away Monday, 17 April 2006 in Saulsbury, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Hobart Aaron Cox and Nellie Tisor Cox who preceded her in death. She was the widow of Allen C. Comer who passed away 31 May 1995. She lived most of her life in Winchester, Indiana and was a member of Winchester Friends Church, Eastern Star and the Randolph County Home Economics club. She taught piano and organ to many Randolph County youth over the years.



She is survived by two daughters, Karen Nickell (husband Phill) of Vevay, Indiana and Patricia Sweat (husband Jerome) of Saulsbury, Tennessee; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Wolfe (husband Glenn) of Modoc, and Florence Comer (widow of William Comer) of Winchester, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rocky Charles Pegg.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Indiana Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Indiana State Chapter, 8465 Keystone Crossing #235, Indianapolis, IN 46240 in the name of Rocky Charles Pegg. A committal service will be held at the Fountain Park Cemetery, 700 S. Main St, Winchester, IN on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
