MARY E. COLLINSwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 3, 1922 the daughter of the late Jess and Sara Kelly Gray.On February 14, 1938 she was united in marriage to Luther Franklin Collins, who preceded his wife in death on December 29, 1994.Mrs. Collins was a factory worker for Brown Shoe and Garan. She was a member of Olivet Pentecostal Church. She loved her family and going to church. Mrs. Collins also loved working in the yard with flowers.She departed this life on February 10, 2008 at the Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 7 days.Mrs. Collins is survived by one daughter, Helen Rickman of Savannah, Tennessee12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildrenone sister, Emma Lee Scott of MichiganShe was also preceded in death by 3 sons, J. L., Floyd (Carney) and Carroll Franklin Collins, one grandchild, Cindy Garrison and 2 sisters, Dorothy Franks and Tootsie Hatley.
