Mary Lee Blevins Butler

Mrs. Mary Lee Blevins Butler departed this life on Monday, April 29, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 77 Years, 7 Months, 16 Days. She was born September 13, 1941 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Howard and Emma Jackson Blevins.

She was united in marriage to Hollis Butler on January 2, 1960.

Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Hollis Butler of Cypress Inn, TN, two sons, Michael Ray (Mike) Butler, wife, Peggy of Cypress Inn, TN, Joseph Anthony (Joey) Butler of Florence, AL and his former wife, Angie of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Ina and Jena Butler, Candise Cooper, husband, Kane and Matt Butler; great-granchildren; Noah and Caleb Cooper and brother, Jack Blevins of Florence, AL.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by brothers, Tim, Herman, James and Ottis Blevins and sister, Aldean Peden.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Gary Cosby and Jimmy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joey Butler, Mike Butler, Kane Cooper, Matt Butler, Daryl Calton and Darrell Mitchell.
