Mary June Brooks

Mary June Ripley Brooks was born June 1, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was united in marriage to Albert Franklin Wolverton, who preceded her in death. To this union three sons were born. In her later life she married Roy Brooks, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Brooks was a retired packer for the Army Defense Depot in Memphis, Tennessee and was a member of the Gravely Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. Mrs. Brooks departed this life on October 13, 2006 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 4 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by two sons: Ronald Lee Wolverton and wife Debra of Millington, Tennessee and Albert Clifton Wolverton of Memphis, Tennessee; 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Brooks was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Gene Wolverton, and two sisters: Velma Ripley and Jewell Ellis.
