Mary Elizabeth Bridges

MARY ELIZABETH BRIDGESwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 16, 1920 the daughter of the late Benjamin Gilbert and Ina Mae Singleton Green.On February 9, 1946 she was united in marriage to James Hershel Bridges, who preceded his wife in death on July 15, 1996.Mrs. Bridges was a machine operator for Garan Manufacturing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.Mrs. Bridges departed this life on February 20, 2009 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 4 days.She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Carolyn Bridges Brown and her husband Dale of Counce, Tennessee and one son, Jimmy Neal Bridges and his wife Becky of Adamsville, Tennessee.3 grandchildren, Jeffery Neal Bridges, Amy Nicole Bridges Tharp and Nancy Angel Coleman Boone5 great-grandchildren, Colton, Candace, Anna, Mitchell and Jaydonone sister, Rhoda Mae Phillips of Savannah, TennesseeMrs. Bridges was also preceded in death by one brother, William Alton Green.
