Mary Sue Berry

Mary Sue Berry departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 18 Days. She was born on April 1, 1930 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Cotus and Mattie Lee Jones Weaver. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Berry; brother, Floyd Weaver, and sister, Aileen Long.



Mrs. Berry was a retired nurse from Wayne County Hosptial and Wayne County Nursing Home and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.



She is survived by her husband, Grady Berry of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Eddie Berry and wife, Donna and Phil Berry all of Waynesboro, TN, and David Berry and wife, Robbie of Cypress Inn, TN; daughters, Sandra Lowery and husband, David of Hohenwald, TN, Donna Rich and husband, Larry of Collinwood, TN, and Carol Kelso of Hohenwald, TN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Mae Scott of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.



Services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton and Ray Kelso Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, in Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
