MARY NELL BAILEY
Reagan, TN: Mary Nell Bailey age 82 passed away Tuesday September 3, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Henderson County the daughter of the late Eddie Calvin and Estelee Petty Morris. She married Ivy Bailey on January 23, 1946. They made their home in Chester County. Mrs. Bailey worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. for 33 years and at Johnson Control for 10 years. Ivy, Mary Nell, and neighbors operated the Chester County Saddle Club for many years providing a safe and entertaining place for their children as well as others. They enjoyed many vacations out west with their children and their families.
She is survived by her husband, Ivy Bailey and four children, Carolyn Foster Hudson, Marilyn Lott, Larry Don Bailey and Jimmy Darrel Bailey; grandchildren, Jeff, Leslie, Brandon, Blake, Ashley, Justin, Bobbie Jo, Michael, Brandi and Sandi; great grandchildren, Kristina, Emily, Hayley, Cody, Sarah, Michael (deceased) Stetson, Bailey, BreAnna, Justin, Jacob, Brittany, Allyson, Chloe, Bailey, Dakota, Briley, Jacob, BreAnna, MaKinley, Denver, Dylan, Tyler, Hunter, Chelsie, Gage, Brian and Shandra and great-great grandchildren, Emma, Drew and Brandon.
Mary Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Estelee Petty Morris and three brothers, Carl, Glenn and Billy Wayne Morris.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Dwight Jones and Sammy McAdams officiating and burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday and 4:00 PM until 9:00 on Thursday.
