Mary Evelyn Anthony, 70, of Bolivar, died November 9 at Methodist Healthcare of Fayette County.
The widow of John William Anthony, who died July 27, 1994, she was a homemaker and worked 10 years at Lucerne. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Medon and loved gardening and making wedding cakes.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis and Ronnie Jones and Johnny Ray Anthony, all of Bolivar and Larry Jones of Medon; two daughters, Sandra Ostrom of Bolivar and Barbara Powell of Bells; a brother, Julius Armstrong of Henderson, Texas; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Rachel; a son, Mike Anthony and two brothers, Cletus and Elroy Armstrong.
