Mary Lou Adair, 66, of Bethel Springs, TN, died Thursday, March
3, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Daughter of the late Jasper and Polly Smith, she was retired from
teaching at Arlington Developmental Hospital. Born September 1,
1938 in Moscow, Tenn., she was a former resident of West Memphis, Ark. and Arlington, Tenn. Ms. Adair was baptist in belief.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Oak Grove Baptist
Church in Moscow with Lynn Eagen officiating. Casket bearers
were Ronnie Rhodes, Ray Barnes, Billy Dodd, Michael Culp,
Donnie Coleman, Vern Miller, William Singleton, Jr., and Daniel
Singleton. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery with Shackelford
Funeral Directors of Bolivar, TN in charge.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Coleman of Arlington,
Tenn. and Judy Byrd of Sardis, Miss.; two sons, William Singleton
of Bethel Springs and Eddie Rosser of Redbanks, Miss.; two sisters,
Peggy Dodd of Toone, and Helen Harrold of Brunswick, Tenn.; 11
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by one brother, Leroy Smith.
