Funeral services for Marvin E. Martin, 69, Waynesboro, TN, will be Monday, September 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, with Larry Janes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. He died at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, Sunday, September 17, 2006.
Mr. Martin, a native of Wayne County, TN, was an automobile mechanic and a member of Green River Tabernacle. He was a son of the late Cecil and Lena Harville Martin, the father of the late Barry Lane Martin, and a brother of the late Margie Martin.
Survivors, wife, Ludine Warren Martin, daughter, Marcy Martin Harris, grandsons, Adam Joshua Harris and Alex Martin Harris, all of Waynesboro, TN, brother, Bobby Martin, Nashville, TN, sisters, Louise Davis and Helen Butler, Waynesboro, TN, Carolyn Meece, Lenoir City, TN, Barbara Westbrooks, Nashville, TN, nieces and nephews.
