Marvin Leon Malone

January 26, 1924 — December 13, 2007

Mr. Malone died early Thursday morning at his home. The widower of Mary Malone, who passed away on August 24, 2001, he was a farmer, butcher truck driver and patient escort with Western Mental Health Institute. He was born to Fred A. and Pauline Ballard Malone, both of whom preceded him in death, and lived here since the 1930's. He served in the US Army during World War II in Germany and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Mr. Malone was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.



Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Eubanks of Bolivar; two sons, Mike and Keith 'Bones' Malone, both of Bolivar; four grandchildren, Shane, Tim and Michael Malone and Angie Eubanks; and four great grandchildren, Collin, Ethan and Allison Malone and Brandon Lee Burvee. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Charles Malone; a baby sister; a granddaughter, Robin Burvee and a grandson, Howard Lee Eubanks, II.
