Marvin Griggs

Marvin Griggs was born June 10, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of the late Edward Thomas Griggs and the late Mary Hobbs Lambert. He was united in marriage to Cathie Clark on November 11, 1971.Mr. Griggs was the owner of Griggs Body Shop and was a member of the West Memphis church of God in West Memphis, Arkansas. Mr. Griggs departed this life on February 10, 2006 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 8 Months. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathie Clark Griggs of Ramer, Tennessee; two daughters: Niki Edwards of Henning, Tennessee and Stacie Stephen and husband Mark of North Little Rock, Arkansas; a son, Wade (Bubba) Griggs of Ramer, Tennessee; three granddaughters: Kendra Echols, Kirsten Griggs and Faith Echols; a sister, Margaret Ann Lapradd of Wynne, Arkansas; his step-mother, Ruth Worthington of West Memphis, Arkansas; two step-sisters: Debra Ewing of Tunica, Mississippi and Dianna Allison of Hughes, Arkansas; two step-brothers: Vester Steele and Gary Steele, both of Hughes, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, Mr. Griggs was also preceded in death by two brothers; Sammy and John Griggs.
