Marvin Cupples

He was born and reared in the Deanburg Community of Chester County, the son of the late John and Mary Frances Thomas Cupples. He attended schools in Chester County and farmed most of his life. He was married to Clara D. Smith Robertson in 1942 and they made their home in Madison County. He began work at the TN Forestry Division at Pinson Mounds in the early 60's and retired in the mid 80's. He had lived at Pinson since 1958. Mrs. Cupples died in 1982.



He is survived by a son Wayne Cupples of Pinson; three daughters Wynnie Robertson of Jackson, Betty Carnell of Pinson and Frances Newsom and huband Willie of Beech Bluff; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; a sister Juanita Terry.
