Martha Lillian White

Martha Lillian White, age 63 of Bolivar, passed from this life Wednesday evening, July 29, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born September 19, 1945 in Whiteville, TN to the late Jeff and Catherine Walton Farris. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Kerr Manufacturing in Jackson for ten years and at Harmon Automotive in Bolivar. She enjoyed reading, playing solitaire and loved her grandchildren. She was a life-long resident of Hardeman County. She leaves as her survivors three daughters, June Shamssolari of Bolivar, Pam Witt of Bolivar and Kristi Johnson of Adamsville; three brothers, Eddie Farris of Bolivar, Jack Farris of Livingston, TX, and Mark Farris of Saltillo; and six grandchildren, Aaron Vandiver, Shannon Vandiver, Deanna Smith, Judy Shamssolari, Allissa Smith and Jared Smith.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony White; two brothers, Jim and Billy Farris; and her former husband, Jimmy White.
