Martha Sadler Walton, 75, of Bolivar, died Wednesday evening, May 31, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The wife of Charles Albert Walton, Jr., who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Walton was born March 29, 1931 in Whiteville, daughter of the late Wilmer H. Sadler and Katie Neely Sadler and lived here all of her life. She loved to crochet and work in her flower garden and was a member of Parran’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Services are 1 pm Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Doug Baker officiating. Burial is in Parran’s Chapel Cemetery near Bolivar.
In addition to her husband, whom she married July 26, 1947, she leaves one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Cossar of Bolivar; two grandsons, Craig Cossar and his wife, Jan of Oakland, Keith Cossar of Bolivar and two great grandchildren, Kara and Matthew. She was preceded in death by four children, her twin daughters, Sandra Kaye and Donna Faye; her son, Dana and an infant son.
