Martha Laverne Jett

Martha Laverne Turnbow Jett of Wayneboro, TN was born February 28, 1941 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Clovis and Lila Sharpe Turnbow. She was united in marriage to Julian C. Jett and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2010.
Mrs. Jett was an retired administrative assistant having worked for Goldkist and Peachtree Country Club in Atlanta, GA. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hohenwald, Tennessee.
Mrs. Jett departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 19 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Letko of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Connor and Olivia Letko.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jett was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle O'Brien.
Services will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
