Martha Bell Henry

Martha Bell Henry was born July 7, 1924 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late David Stanford Mathis and Lizzie Bell Kelly Mathis.She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Henry. Mr. Henry preceded her in death on August 8, 2011.Mrs. Henry was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pocahontas, TN.She was a retired garment factory employee. She departed this life on November 7, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 4 Months.She is survived by a daughter, Barbara White and husband Don of Bolivar, TN; a stepdaughter, Zola Hylton and husband Mike of Eden, NC; two grandchildren, Darrell White of Nashville, TN, Susan Gupton of Nashville, TN; three step grandchildren, David Glenn Thacker of Selmer, TN, Margaret Marcum of Bethel Springs, TN, Larry Donald Joyner of Tulsa, OK; four great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anita Gale King; a stepdaughter, Martha Frances Thacker; a step granddaughter, Linda Faye Thacker; two sisters, Myrtle Dancer, Uila Rogers; a twin brother, Mark David Mathis.
