Martha Jo Delaney



was born in Henderson County, Tennessee on June 5, 1931 the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Meders Kelley.



In August of 1958 she was united in marriage to Ira Delaney, who survives. Mrs. Delaney retired from her job as a machine operator for H.I.S. Sportswear in Saltillo, Tennessee.



She departed this life on June 14, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 years and 9 days.



Mrs. Delaney is survived by her husband, Ira Delaney of Sardis, Tennessee;

3 sons: Gary Delaney, Ricky Delaney and Danny Kelley and his wife, Marilyn, all of Sardis, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren: Joey Kelley and Marc Kelley;

3 great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Kelley, Kendall Kelley and Tyler Kelley;

3 sisters: Helen Rowland of Memphis, Tennessee,

Edna Little and her husband, Wayne, of Sardis, Tennessee,

and Betty Ann Collins and her husband, Robert, of Saltillo, Tennessee;

and 2 brothers: Edward Kelley and his wife, Nancy, of Memphis, Tennessee

and Billy Kelley of Savannah, Tennessee.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dorothy Maness and

Alice Nell Kelley and one brother, Roy Kelley.
