Martha Lucille Cox, 57, of Whiteville, died Thursday morning, May 26, 2005 at her home.
The wife of David Cox, who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Cox was born April 21, 1948 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late W. C. Webb and Hazel Henson Webb and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was an avid gardener.
Services were 1 PM Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Tommy Warner and Wayne Hodge officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, whom she married December 1964, survivors include one son and his wife, Steve and Lisa Cox and two grandchildren, Whitney and Steven. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Dalton Webb and Gene Elliis Webb.
