Martha Dee Brown

MARTHA DEE BROWNwas born in Chester County, Tennessee on June 13, 1924 the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Curly Dee Smith Morris.On March 5, 1944 she was united in marriage to Clifford Howell Brown, who preceded his wife in death on October 31, 1999.Mrs. Brown retired after 30 years as a machine operator for HIS Sportswear. She was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ. Mrs. Brown enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing, gardening and playing cards and games of all types. She loved her children and being with them. Mrs. Brown departed this life on May 10, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 27 days.She is survived by 2 sons, Jim Brown and his wife Connie of Saltillo, Tennessee and Joe L. Brown and his wife Pam of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.2 grandchildren, Wallace Patrick Brown and Melissa Coffman3 great grandchildren, Nina Elizabeth Brown, Ashland Coffman and Justin ShourdIn addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Susie Skellion and 4 brothers, Dewey, Frank, Enloe and Bascom Morris
