Martha G. Black

Martha G. Siler Black was born April 6, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of the late Edward (Curtis) and Alice McNeil Siler.She was united in marriage to Jimmie Black who preceded her in death on January 15, 1997.Mrs. Black was a member and secretary for Lakeview Baptist Church for 20 years. She was a life member of the AMVETS post 22 and she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time with family.Mrs. Black departed this life on February 15, 2009 in Vermilion, Ohio at the age of 71 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Renee Gatschet and husband Jim of Vermilion, OH; two sons, Jimmie Michael Black and wife Rebecca of Bethel Springs, TN, Robert Matthew Black and wife Kelly of Sandusky, OH; a twin sister, Mary Bryan of Pinson, TN; two brothers, Nelson Siler of Bethel Springs, TN, Preston Siler of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Shannon Black, Jimmie T. Neal Black, John Black, Jonathan Gatschet; and two great grandchildren, Katie Black and Samantha Black.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Black was preceded in death by two brothers, William Larry (Buck) Siler and Curtis Dewayne Siler.
