MARSHALL T. ALEXANDER
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 4, 1912 the son of the late Robert Alonzo and Katie Sue Yerby Alexander.
He was united in marriage to the former Mary Patterson, who preceded her husband in death in 1972.
Mr. Alexander was a Game Warden for Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency. He was a United States Marine Corp. veteran. Mr. Alexander was a member of the Olive Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Mr. Alexander was a life long resident of Olive Hill, which he loved very much. He enjoyed squirrel hunting but his passion was fishing especially with family and friends. Mr. Alexander did not have any children of his own but he loved all children.
He departed this life on December 31, 2008 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 96 years, 2 months and 27 days.
Mr. Alexander is survived by one brother, William Harbour Alexander of Nashville, Tennessee
14 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews
Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Zelma Patterson and Ruth Turner and 2 brothers, James M. (Bowdie) Alexander and his twin brother Woodrow Alexander.
