Marquita Jean Lindsey

Marquita Jean Barnes Lindsey was born September 19, 1931 in Cottle County, Texas the daughter of the late Grover Shellie and Mattie Violia Bryant Barnes.She was united in marriage to Wayne Alroy Lindsey, who preceded her in death on December 14, 2007.Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and was Methodist in belief. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and spending time with her family, whom she loved very much. Mrs. Lindsey departed this life on October 16, 2010 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 27 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara McMillen and husband James of Ramer, TN; two sons, Grover Lindsey and wife Sharan of San Antonio, TX and Jerry Don Lindsey and wife Jackie of Bartlett, TN; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Windol Frances Burks, Betty Cathryn Cannon, Peggy Joyce Cowart; a brother, Neulyn Clark Barnes; and many extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Mae Woodward; six brothers, Silbert Denton Barnes, Charlie Bryant Barnes, Pervin Keith Barnes, Grover Shirley Barnes, Robert Kendall Barnes, Thomas Hureta Barnes.
