Mark Deon Jones

Mark Jones was born January 7, 1963 in Selmer, TN the son of Nona Wagoner Jones and the late Garland Lee Jones. Mark worked at Aqua Glass for 14 years and Kimberly Clark in maintenance, from which he retired. He was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church in the Gilchrist Community. He loved his dog Chip-they traveled many miles together. Mr. Jones departed this life on February 8, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 1 Month, 1 Day. He is survived by his mother, Nona Jones of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Angela Inman and husband Bobby of Corinth, MS, Alesia Scott and husband Cecil of Savannah, TN; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his father, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, Kerry Lynn Jones; grandparents E.B. and Edna Wagoner, Zelford and Artie Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mt. Vinson Cemetery Fund. The public is invited to attend the graveside service.
