Mark Howell

Mark “Cabbage” Howell, age 58 of Medon, passed from this life on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born August 17, 1964, in Jackson, TN.  He married Paula Majors on February 10, 2005.  Known as a motorcycle enthusiast, especially Harley-Davidsons, he worked in building construction for Vann Homes and for Wilber Campbell, doing siding, gutters, and dirt work.  He worked at I. C. E. for some time as well.  He was known for “always being right,” he either “liked you or he didn’t” and you would know, and for folks to “stay out of his business.” 

Survivors include his wife Paula of Medon; daughter, Amanda Campbell (Shayne) of Medon, and a grandson Colton Seth Campbell.  He was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Kay Davis Crump.
