Marjorie L. Ross

Ms. Ross died Sunday morning, October 12 at St. Peter's Villa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Memphis.



She was a former executive secretary for Gordon's Truck Lines. She was born to Thomas A. "Tom" and Vera Siler Ross and lived in Memphis since graduating high school. She was active in the Variety Club and was a volunteer for Methodist University Hospital. Ms. Ross was a member of St. John's Methodist Church.



Survivors include a sister, Verna Davis of Scotts Bluff, NE; five nephews, Phillip Davis, James D. Ross, Allan Ross, Mike Ross and Stanley Grissom; and four nieces, Melba Roberts, Linda Ross. Gwendolyn Hooper and Berry Carol Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
