Marilyn Plunkwas born in Peoria, Illinois on January 27, 1944, the daughter of the late William and Emma Stingal Adams.On March 27, 1965 she was united in marriage to James T. Plunk, who survives.During her life, Mrs. Plunk worked as a Veteran's Affairs Rep. at Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois. She had lived in Moline, Illinois, Springfield, Ohio, Huntsville, Alabama, and Hardin County, Tennessee. As a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church she taught Sunday school and helped with shut-ins. She enjoyed sewing and baking.Mrs. Plunk departed this life on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the age of 64 years, 1 month, 17 days.In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 sons: Richard Plunk of Boston, Massachusetts, James P. Plunk of Cleburne, Texas, Joseph Plunk of Dayton, Ohio, Mark Plunk of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 daughters: Cindy Adkins of Silvis, Illinois, Naomi Lard of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 brothers:Richard Adams of Cool Springs, Michigan, Harold Adams and Jim Adams both of Peoria, Illinois; 1 sister: Carol McPhaille of Versailles, California; 9 grandchildren: Drew Plunk, Cherie Price, Nicole Lard, Paxton Price, Lance Adkins, Sheena Plunk, Amber Lard, Payton Plunk, Zane Plunk; 1 great-grandchild: Chance Price.
