Marie Kirk Lambert was born April 21, 1933 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late William Ross and Mary Lillian Meeks Kirk.
Mrs. Lambert worked for many years as a beautician. She was a member of Cypress Tank Church of Christ. She loved bluegrass music, watching westerns, crocheting, sewing and quilting. When she wasn't busy sewing you could find her working crossword or jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs. Lambert had a sweet and gentle spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family. If you knew Mrs. Lambert then you knew she had a beautiful smile along with a comforting hug for everyone.
Mrs. Lambert departed this life on January 19, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 8 Months, 29 Days. She is survived by a son, Ron Long and wife Linda of Locust Gap, PA; three grandchildren, Amanda Miller and husband Derek, Ron Long II, Jonathan Long; three great grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, and Noah Miller; four sisters, Betty Rickman of Ramer, TN, Lucille King of Selmer, TN, Naomi Roberts of Selmer, TN, Leilla Ervin of Selmer, TN; stepchildren, Liz Gray and husband Bill, Randy Lambert and wife Susie, Tony Lambert and Keith Lambert; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Lambert was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Long; second husband, Malcolm Lambert; a daughter, Kathy Lewis; stepson, Tracy Lambert; step grand daughter, Jessica Lambert, two brothers, Fred Kirk, Carl Kirk; and a sister, Ruth Kirk.
