Funeral services for Mary Marie West Jones, age 84, of Waynesboro, TN will be on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 1:00 pm Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro with Larry Janes officiating. Interment following in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Tuesday January 29, 2008 from 5:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday January 30 from 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Mary Marie West Jones died on Monday January 28 2008 at Wayne County Nursing Home, Waynesboro. She was born in Cookeville, TN on May 6, 1923 to the late Clyde and Emma Frances Staggs West. Mrs. Jones was the wife of the late Cornelius Eugene (Rooster) Jones; mother of the late Charlie Jones; Clara Floyd and Joyce Jones; sister of the late William Franklin (Bud) West.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
